The AP1 714 irons have progressive sole widths (wider with length), blade lengths and top lines, with a satin polish finish and bright polish cavity highlights. Used (normal wear), Titleist 718 AP2 forged irons in excellent condition.
These irons offer considerable forgivenesson mishits, and their slightly stronger lofts generate plenty of distance for abetter-player forged iron. Once I started making solid contact with a decent shoulder turn, the M2 really came alive in my hands. The difference was not profound by any means, and was more of a function of loft. Hit the M1 next, and same type of feel when hit solid. Cant wait to pick them up. As a lefty, finding a forged CB players club isnt an easy thing. The AP2 7 iron is 34 degrees and goes the same distance. However the 4-iron is so easy to hit that you may want the 3.
